The Paoletti Family, Augusto and Francesco (Subhi), whose mother was Julia Naaman Faris Khalil Jeries Faddoul Jeries Yusef Srouji, with their wives, Badrie and Alice Srouji, daughters of Ruda Naaman Faris Khalil Jeries Faddoul Jeries Yusef Srouji (their first cousins) in a prisoner camp in Australia during World War II with their children Cesare, Lucia and Remo Paoletti. All Italian nationals who lived in Palestine during World war II were transported by the British in 1941 to Australia for internment in various camps.

Most Probably after the war was over, this family, among other Italo-Palestinians were unable to go back to Palestine due to the 1948 Nakba and the establishment of the state of Israel. Apparently the Paletti family went back to Egypt , where Ruda Naaman Faris Srouji lived at the time and it seems they went back to Australia as immigrants later. I have found the obituaries of the children Cesare, Remo and a third brother called Robert online (see below)
على الاغلب انه بعد الحرب, لم تستطع عائلة باوليتي من الرجوع الى فلسطين بسبب النكبة سنة 1948 وقيام دولة اسرائيل. من المرجح انهم رجعوا الى مصر حيث كان يعيش رضى نعمان فارس سروجي (اب إليس وبدرية) والظاهر انهم رجعوا وهاجروا الى استراليا بعد فترة. فقد وجدت على الشبكة الالكترونية نعوات للولاد شيزاري وريمو وكذلك لاخ ثالث لهما اسمه روبرت
